About the MaxMin - Maximum smallest deviation fitting type

Use this fitting type to check that an unfinished part can be machined down to the model. If all the points in the best fit have positive deviations, there is excess material all around the model and the part can be successfully machined. If any points have negative deviations, there is insufficient material to finish the part.

In this example, the original alignment produces the following deviations between the model (outlined in red) and the unfinished part (outlined in blue):

Applying a Best Fit with MaxMin - Maximum smallest deviation transforms the alignment to increase the size of the lowest deviation.
