To configure the DRO

Use the DRO Settings dialog to specify how probe coordinates and measurements are displayed in the PowerInspect DRO dialog.

Note: The DRO is available only for use with CNC and Manual machines.

To specify the coordinate and measurement settings:

1. Click Tools tab > Machine panel > DRO.
2. In the PowerInspect DRO dialog, click Settings. The DRO Settings dialog is displayed.
3. In the Units list, select the units in which you want to display the probe coordinates and measurements.
4. In the Scaling factor box, enter a multiplier, expressed as a percentage, to scale the coordinates and measurements to the selected Units.

   For example, if the measuring device returns values in microns, enter a Scaling factor of 100000 to convert the coordinates and measurements to millimetres.

5. In the Number of decimal places box, enter the number of decimal places you want to display for coordinates and measurements.
6. Click OK to save your changes.
