The
Mold Lock Wizard
lets you define several locks on a mold at the same time. Without this functionality, you would need to create each half of each lock independently, ensuring that the dimensions and positioning of the male and female halves were complimentary.
To create a mold lock:
- Select Wizard tab > Mode panel > Toolmaker On/Off to run
Toolmaker.
- Click Wizard tab > Create Molds panel > Mold Lock.
- Select the cavity and core inserts using the
Identify inserts page.
- Define the mold locks using the options on the
Define mold locks page.
- Use the simulation option on
Define mold locks page to check the mold locks and modify as appropriate.
