Using devices to acquire scan data

You can acquire point data using various devices supported by PowerShape. Use these devices to probe or scan an object; the point data is acquired directly into PowerShape.

To enable a device to use for scanning:

1. Ensure the device is connected to your computer and turned on, and any device-specific software or drivers have been installed.
2. Click Wizard tab > Devices panel, and choose from the following:
   • Scanner/Probe
   • Artec
   • Primitives from Points
