Tangent and normal graphic handles

  1. To enable the tangent and normal graphic handles:
  2. Select a point on the curve.
  3. Right-click the point and select Tangent and normal graphic handles from the context menu.
  4. Click and drag the handles to edit the curve:
    • Use the arrow handles tangent to the curve to move the point, in a fixed direction, along the tangent.

    • Use the arrow handles normal to the curve to move the point, in a fixed direction, along the normal.

    • Use the planar handles to move the point across a 2D plane.

    • Use the centre handle to move the point freely.

Note: Moving the cursor over a handle highlights the handle, indicating that you can move it.
