Editing solid faces using Move

When the Move toolbar is used to edit solid faces, it contains an additional button. This lets you change the face you have selected while the toolbar is displayed:

1. Click .
2. Change the face selection as required.
3. Click to continue editing.
   Note: When in Select mode, the other buttons on the toolbar are unavailable.

There are three ways to specify the direction of movement. Select one of the following buttons on the Move toolbar to specify the movement method:

• — to use a workplane axis as the movement direction.
• — to use two points to specify the movement direction.
• — to use a normal to specify the movement direction.
Tip: Alternatively, you can click and drag the selected face to a new position, and enter the exact distance value in the Confirm Drag dialog that is displayed.
