Generate the Energy Analysis

After preparing the architectural model and creating a complete and accurate energy analytical model, send the energy analytical model to the cloud for simulation and analysis.

1. Before initiating the analysis, do the following:
   1. Specify the location.
   2. Create the energy analytical model.
2. Click Analyze tabEnergy Optimization panel (Generate).

You will receive an email to confirm receipt of the analysis request. Depending on the size and complexity of the model, the analysis make take anywhere from a couple minutes to an hour or more to process. See About the Energy Analytical Model Creation Process.

When the analysis is complete, you will receive another email containing a link to the model in Autodesk Insight. Use Insight to optimize building energy.
