Set Up the Model for Analysis

There are three approaches to setting up the model.

Models that contain building elements (walls, floors, roofs, etc.), massing elements, or a mixture of both massing and building elements together can be analyzed.

Regardless of the type of elements in your model, you'll need to set the location and choose weather data during model set up.

Specify a geographic location and select a weather station to provide data used in the energy analysis of the model.

Specify the Location

Use a simple massing model during early stages of design to create an energy analytical model.
