Modify type properties to change the graphics for a cut mark family that is used to document stairs.
To change type properties, select an element and click Modify tab
Properties panel
(Type Properties). Changes to type properties apply to all instances in the project.

| Cut Line Type | Specifies Single Line or Double Line. The Single line cut line is determined by the cut plane location. |
| Cut Line Distance | If Double Line is selected for Cut Line Type, this value allows you to specify the offset distance of the second parallel line from the primary cut line. |
| Cut Line Extension | Specifies the distance to extend the cut line beyond the run boundaries on both sides. |
| Cut Line Angle | Specifies the angle between the cut line and the riser line. |
| Cut Mark Symbol | Specifies the graphic used for the cut line. If Double Line is selected as the Cut Line Type, the graphic is used for both cut lines. |
