Override Snap Settings

When placing an element or sketching a line, you can temporarily override snap settings. Temporary overrides affect a single pick only.

1. Choose the element to place.

   For elements that require more than one pick (such as a wall), select the element and make the first pick.

2. Do one of the following:
   • Type the keyboard shortcut. These shortcuts are listed in the Snaps dialog.
   • Right-click, click Snap Overrides, and select an option.
3. Finish placing the element.
