When you use Revit in Autodesk for Government, some cloud features and functionality are not available.
The following Revit cloud services are not available in the Autodesk for Government environment:
- New 'Revit Home' - Autodesk for Governement users to switch back to the "classic" view in Revit to gain access to the Autodesk for Governement environment For additional information see:

- Official Autodesk Add-ins (Add-Ins tab)
- Revit Issues
- FDX Data Connector
- Lighting Analysis
The following desktop applications are not supported in the Autodesk for Government environment:
- Fabrication Data Manager Sync Tool
- Desktop Connector
The following Revit APIs are not supported in the Autodesk for Government environment for Revit 2024:
- Autodesk.Revit.DB.ParameterUtils.DownloadParameterOptions
- Autodesk.Revit.DB.ParameterUtils.DownloadCompanyInfo
- Autodesk.Revit.UI.UIApplication.PostCommand, with any the following command ids:
- Autodesk.Revit.UI.PostableCommand.CoordinationModelAutodeskDocs
- Autodesk.Revit.UI.PostableCommand.RenderInCloud
- Autodesk.Revit.UI.PostableCommand.RenderGallery
Access to files stored in local caches is limited. If you attempt to open a Revit file from one of these cache locations without switching to the appropriate environment, Revit will block access top the file during model open. The current authenticated user and environment will not recognize the model.
