Checks for an HTTP proxy server.
Clients accessing the Autodesk Data Management Server communicate with the server on port 80. If a client machine connects to the web server through a proxy server, then calls to the Autodesk Data Management Server from any Autodesk client will fail. Make sure that the proxy server is configured to bypass local addresses. This check warns if an HTTP proxy server is found.
On the Start menu, select Internet Options.

In the Internet Options dialog, click the Connections tab.
Click LAN Settings.
If the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" check box is enabled, turn on the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box.
Click OK.
Click OK to close Internet Options.
If the network continues to connect to the assigned HTTP proxy server, then the HTTP proxy address may contain a period. To keep the HTTP proxy server enabled, do one of the following to bypass it
