Learn how to store on-premise data and cloud simulations on your local machine or on a server.
Results data for on-premise and cloud simulations can be stored on your local machine. For on-premise simulations, results can also be stored on the server where your database is located. Results for cloud simulations are also stored on the cloud.
By default, all results are stored on your local machine in the local root directory. You can also store on-premise results in the remote results root, which can be located on the server where your database is located.
Results stored locally are only available to users on that machine. Results on the server can be accessed by all users, and all users can download results from the cloud.
There are two methods of storing on-premise results on the server:
If you delete the local results for cloud simulations, they are only deleted from your Local Results Folder and should still be available on the cloud. See Results Management for further information.
