A network can be opened as a background layer in the GeoPlan window of a currently open network.
A background network can be opened by the following methods:
By default the latest version of the network selected as a background network will be loaded into the GeoPlan. It is only possible to select previously committed versions of a network when using the Background Network dialog to select a network.
To open a background network from a Guest Database
Selection lists, layer lists, themes, queries and ground models can also be dragged from the Guest Explorer view to the host network.
Display options for the Guest Network can be modified by right clicking on the GeoPlan and selecting Background Properties & Themes from the popup menu.
Property Sheets for the Guest Network can be viewed in the same way as for the host network by using the
tool.
A Grid Window of the Guest Network objects can be viewed by clicking
on the
Windows Toolbar
, or by selecting Grid windows | New asset window from the Window menu.
Guest Network objects may be edited via the property sheets and Grid window.
