In the Tolerance Calculator dialog box, you can enter individual chain element dimensions and tolerances.

Vectors are displayed in this area of the Calculation tab. They have different meanings: | |
Blue double line | The resultant dimension. |
Black full line | Any chain element. |
Black dashed line | The closing chain element (for design calculation only). |
Red | No solution to closing element tolerance calculation. Increase the tolerances of the closing element. |
Dimensions List | |
Specifies the individual chain element dimensions and tolerances you enter. There are three options to input your data for each element: | |
| Displays the Tolerance dialog box where you set the tolerance criteria. |
| Deletes the selected tolerance. |
| Displays a dialog where you can select the type of element within the chain. Check the box if you want the element to be Normal, Closing, or Resultant. |
Normal - Normal type of element within the chain. | |
Closing - Closes the tolerance chain. Represents the total value of tolerances | |
Resultant - Calculated element. In the Tolerance dialog box, you cannot set values to such type of tolerance. |
Summary of Messages
Displays the reports about calculation. To open the Summary of Messages area at the bottom of the tab, double-click the double line at the bottom of the tabs or click the chevron.
