Modify or delete BIM Content connectors to change their associated information.
Start with an open Autodesk Inventor part or assembly file that contains the connectors you want to edit
On the ribbon, click Environments tab Begin panel
BIM Content.
The existing connectors appear in the BIM Content environment graphics window, and browser.
In the browser, expand the MEP System Connections icon, and expand the connector types to edit.
In the browser, or in the graphics window, right-click a connector and click Edit Connector.
The connector dialog box for the selected connector displays. You can change the shape, orientation, size, and properties of the selected connector.
When you finish the edits, click OK to update the information.
On the ribbon, click Environments tab Begin panel
BIM Content .
The existing connectors appear in the BIM Content environment graphics window and browser.
In the browser, expand the MEP System Connections icon, and expand the connector types to delete.
In the browser, or in the graphics window, right-click a connector, and click Delete Connectors.
Continue to delete connectors, as necessary.
Connectors remain suppressed until you unsuppress them. In the browser, suppressed connectors are unavailable.
Suppressed connectors are not included in the RFA or ADSK file created by the Export Building Components command.
On the ribbon, click Environments tab Begin panel
BIM Content.
In the Browser, expand the MEP System Connections icon, expand a connector type, and select a connector.
Right-click, and click Suppress Connectors.
Components such as water valves, elbows, and other parts can interact in a logical way with MEP systems.
Linked connectors display a dashed line between them in the BIM Content graphics window.
On the ribbon, click Environments tab Begin panel
BIM Content.
In the Browser, expand the MEP System Connections icon, expand a connector type, and select the connectors.
Right-click, and click Link Connectors.
