In this step, we'll assign a material that simulates the thermo-physical properties of a human body to our occupant. The default installed material database does not contain an actual "human body" material, so we'll use silicon as a close analog. A more rigorous approach would be to create a material with the actual properties of a human body, and add it to a custom material database.
1. Select the occupant by left clicking on him.

2. Click Edit from the Materials context panel:

3. On the Materials quick edit dialog, select the material type:

4. From the Name menu, select Human
