To set the effects used, choose from the Glow and Glare, Chromatic Aberration, and Combined Effects, which applies a combination of glow, glare, and chromatic aberration, presets. This applies it to the scene and loads it into the Properties, where you can see the settings for the preset.
Once a preset is selected, it is applied to the scene and it settings are loaded into the Properties, where you can see the default set values. These values can be tweaked and if additional settings is required, use the quick access buttons in the Splitter Bar to open a specific editor for further options. And finally, to save any changes, use Save or Save As to create a custom preset. See the Custom Presets section for how to do this.
Click to display the following properties, if not visible:
Glow - Enables/disables glow. When enabled, Threshold, Size, and Intensity are activated.
Threshold - Determines the threshold of the brightness of a pixel where the glow effect sets in.
Size - The glow size determines the size of the glow surrounding an object.
Intensity - The glow intensity determines the brightness of the glow.
Glare - Enables/disables glare. When enabled, Threshold, Size, Intensity, Rotation, and Streaks are activated.
Threshold - Determines the threshold of the brightness of a pixel for where the glare effect sets in.
Size - Determines the size of the glare.
Intensity - Determines the brightness of the glare.
Rotation - Sets the rotation of streaks in a specified angle.
Streaks - Determines the maximum count of streaks. Higher values appear like stars.
Chromatic Aberration - Enables/disables the camera chromatic aberraction effect. See Chromatic Aberration for more information.
Film Grain - Enables/disables film grain, which creates a cinematic camera effect that distorts clean rendering and shifts it for a very emotional look. It simulates the noise of the camera and is more visible in darker areas, than light. It is pixel-based, so its size is always relative to the rendered resolution. The noise pattern changes with each frame.
Save - Saves changes to the selected preset.
Save As - Creates a custom preset with a blue outline (when active). This custom preset will appear in the Active Volume Node dropdown.
