Use the Stormwater Controls tab to review individual analysis of stormwater basins, such as ponds, in your drainage system.
Object navigation and editing
- Use the Zoom to Object
tool to locate the object and correct any drawing issues such as connections, location, object type, sizes, and elevation.
- Use the Object Properties
dialog boxes to update any parameter issues for the object.
-
Name
- Displays the name of the object.
-
Status
- Reports if the flow in the pipe is OK, Flood Risk or Flooded, based on the maximum water elevation in the Junction.
-
OK. The maximum water elevation is below the Freeboard elevation (top of pond elevation minus freeboard depth).
-
Flood Risk. The maximum elevation is below the top of pond, but within the Freeboard.
-
Flood. The maximum water elevation is above the top of pond.
-
Exceedance Elevation
- Reference parameter for the top of the pond or stormwater control when viewing status and flow depth.
-
Invert Elevation
- Reference parameter for the bottom of the pond or stormwater control when reviewing other elevations and depths.
-
Max US Elevation
- Displays the maximum upstream water elevation (above datum) reached in the pond for the selected or displayed rainfall event.
-
Max DS Elevation
- Displays the maximum downstream upstream water elevation (above datum) reached in the pond for the selected or displayed rainfall event.
-
Max Avg. Elevation
- Displays the maximum average water elevation (above datum) reached in the pond for the selected or displayed rainfall event.
-
Max Avg. Depth
- Displays the maximum average water depth (above base elevation) reached in the pond for the selected or displayed rainfall event.
-
Max Inflow
- Displays the maximum inflow (totaling all inlets) reaching the pond for the selected or displayed rainfall event. This does not include Bypassed inflow.
-
Max Resident Volume
- Displays the maximum volume in the pond for the selected or displayed rainfall event including flooded volume.
-
Max Flooded Volume
- Displays the maximum volume above the exceedance elevation or cover elevation in the pond for the selected or displayed rainfall event.
-
Max Outflow
- Displays the maximum outflow (totaling all outlets) leaving the pond for the selected or displayed rainfall event.
-
Total Discharge Volume
- Displays the total volume leaving the pond, through all outlets for the selected or displayed rainfall event.
-
Half Drain Down Time
- Displays the measure of the time it takes for a Stormwater Control to drain down from its maximum depth to half its maximum depth at the average outflow rate as measured at the maximum depth and half maximum depths.
-
Percentage Available
- Displays the percentage of the total volume of the Stormwater Control available above the maximum water elevation measured to the exceedance elevation.
