To Extract Feature Lines from a Channel

Learn how to extract a feature line from channel geometry.

1. Select the channel.
2. Click Channel tab Launch Pad panel Feature Lines from Channel .
3. In the Extract Feature Lines dialog box, the default feature line Name convention is displayed. Its format is as follows: Feature Line- < number >.
4. Specify a Site for the feature line from the drop-down.
5. Specify a Feature Line Style from the drop-down.
6. Specify the layer for the feature line.
7. Enable or disable baseline extraction.
8. Enable or disable longitudinal line extraction.
9. Enable or disable dynamic links between the feature line and the channel.
10. Click OK to continue extraction or Cancel to close the tool and return to the drawing.
