Partitioning for reinforcement identification serves several organizational purposes depending on how a building is designed or how it will be constructed.
This organization can be accomplished by editing the built-in Partition parameter that all reinforcement elements possess and that is set as the default partition criterion for the automatically created reinforcement numbering templates.
The following image shows a visual representation of 9 partitions in a basic model where each level has 3 specific partitions. Rebar assigned to a specific partition display like colors. Rebar can be partitioned and thus grouped based on when and where it is needed.
