Autodesk Model Analytics (AMA) is a cloud-connected Revit add-in that provides near-real-time insights into the health, performance, and usage of Revit cloud models—without opening Revit.
Autodesk Model Analytics helps improve project outcomes and reduce team downtime. It is designed for BIM managers, team leaders, executives, and stakeholders who need visibility into model performance at the project or organizational level.
Model Analytics delivers performance analyses and reports for:
- A single Revit model
- An entire Forma project (multiple models)
- An organization-wide hub (executive access only)
These reports help teams identify and diagnose the causes of poor model performance.
Model Analytics identifies common issues such as sudden file size increases, mixed minor Revit versions used during synchronization, and inefficient modeling practices.
The add-in connects Revit models to an analytics cloud service that automatically collects data for selected models when workshared models are synchronized or non-workshared models are saved. Analytics appear in a web-based dashboard, where you can track trends and compare performance across models and projects over time.
Model Analytics is available through Forma Data Management Insight and is accessed from Autodesk Forma—not from the Revit Add-Ins ribbon.
