Update to Revit Viewer Mode

Viewer Mode will remain available in Revit 2026 and all previous versions. Starting with Revit 2027, Viewer Mode will be removed and no longer supported.

This change is intended to address potential licensing and security risks associated with the feature, while aligning with Autodesk's strategy to provide more robust, secure, and scalable viewing solutions.

Users are encouraged to transition to the following alternatives:

• Autodesk Viewer for browser-based model viewing and sharing
• Shared Views for easy, controlled collaboration directly from Revit
• Autodesk Forma as one AI-native industry cloud, boosting creativity, strengthening collaboration, and driving smarter project outcomes.
