Longitudinal Bars Driven by Transverse Rebar

Create longitudinal reinforcement directly from transverse rebar. Longitudinal bars follow stirrups, spirals, or multi-segment shapes and update automatically as transverse geometry changes. This new method can be used for both civil structures (bridges, tunnels), as well as typical building elements.

You can now place longitudinal reinforcement that is driven directly by existing transverse rebar. Select a stirrup, spiral, or multi-segment transverse rebar set to generate a coordinated longitudinal bar set that follows its geometry automatically.

The longitudinal bars adjust dynamically when the transverse reinforcement changes, supporting both simple and complex concrete elements. You can place bars by selecting the entire transverse set or individual segments, control offsets and extents with handles and constraints, and apply fixed, maximum, or custom spacing layouts for precise reinforcement definition.
