Understand how your model may affect local climate conditions when designing outdoor spaces.
As a Forma Connected Client, Revit supports microclimate analysis to evaluate perceived temperature on site, combining sun hours, daylight potential, and wind exposure with localized weather and climate data.
For a model that is
set up for use with
Forma tools, open a view that contains terrain and contextual data, such as building models, surrounding buildings, and other context. Then click Analyze tab > Forma Analyses panel >
(Microclimate) to run the analysis. Results typically display in 4-10 seconds.
- You can use default analysis settings, or adjust the dry bulb (air) temperature and wind direction to explore how changing weather conditions affect perceived temperature.
- Make changes to the building model to see how the changes affect analysis results.
