Collaborative Insight enables teams to share Sustainability Analysis results associated with cloud workshared Revit models.
This enhancement strengthens collaboration in Forma Carbon Insights by allowing sustainability analysis data to be accessed and shared within cloud-based project environments.
Share Sustainability Analysis from Cloud Models
Users can now share Sustainability Analysis results linked to cloud workshared Revit models and Forma Building Design Models through the Collaborative Insight workflow.
This capability allows project stakeholders to:
- Open cloud models or cloud-shared Revit models or Forma Building Design Models
- Analyze or expand the model in Forma Carbon Insight
- Share sustainability analysis data within the collaborative project environment
The feature supports coordinated decision-making by ensuring sustainability data is accessible to relevant team members.
Collaborative Insight in the Insight App
A new Collaborative Insight section is available in the Insight App Home.
- Collaborative Insights are only available for Revit cloud models and Forma Building Design Models.
- Permissions and Access Control:
- Editing rights for Insight constructs (dashboards, metrics, factors, benchmarks, and simulations) follow the permission hierarchy defined in the Forma Data Management folder that hosts the Revit cloud mode.
- Users with Edit or Manage permissions at the cloud folder level can collaborate on the same analysis and edit Insight constructs.
- Users with less than Edit permission cannot view or share the sustainability analysis associated with that model.
- Forma Data Management hub and project administrators can adjust Insight permissions directly through cloud workflows.
