When connecting a model to a Forma scenario, the process to assign a draft geolocation allows you to specify additional information.
To use Forma tools and workflows on your model, the model must be connected to a scenario and assigned a geolocation. If you don't yet have detailed survey data for the site, you can use a draft geolocation for early stage design.
The workflow to assign the draft geolocation has been improved. In addition to latitude and longitude, you can specify the following:
- Name and description of the location
- Elevation
- Rotation
- Unit
- Fit region (length, width)
Values specified for the draft geolocation's latitude, longitude, and elevation update the corresponding values of the survey point. In addition, the Rotation value updates the value of Angle from Project North to True North on the Site tab of the Location and Site dialog.
