After performing an energy analysis using conceptual masses or building elements model using default energy settings, you can adjust some of the settings and perform additional analyses to see the effects of the changes.
For conceptual masses, the settings that you define in the Energy Settings dialog are project-wide settings that apply to the entire conceptual model. You can override these project-wide settings to customize the model by selecting individual mass surfaces or zones, and changing their energy settings or graphics.
For building element models, the Energy Settings that apply to the conceptual model are unavailable. The Energy Model parameters, with the exception of Conceptual Constructions do not apply to building element models. Use the Common Model, Detailed Model, and Building Services settings to customize a building element energy analytical model.
