When reviewing an GUID-2043E09F-40E5-4155-AE28-134F62E54F54.htm#WS73099CC142F487552C60378B128B24194AD655E in the Results and Compare dialog, this chart provides data about outdoor design conditions. Use this data to understand conditions that affect load calculations for sizing of heating and cooling equipment.

Parameter Description
1% Cooling Dry Bulb The outdoor dry-bulb temperature used to calculate cooling loads. The 1% means that the outdoor temperature will be exceeded by 1% of the number of hours during a typical weather year.
Monthly Average Daily Min/Max The average daily minimum and average daily maximum dry-bulb temperatures for each month.
Mean Dry Bulb The average of all hourly dry-bulb temperatures for the month.
Annual 99% Dry Bulb The outdoor dry-bulb temperature used to calculate heating loads. The 99% means that, on average, the outdoor temperature will be exceeded for 99% of the hours in a year.
