This side toolbar allows the user to select what types of object are visible in the graphic window.
Click on the Objects tab on the right hand side of the graphic window. This toolbar will fly out.
When no instance of an object type has been created then the checkbox alongside its description is greyed.
Hidden object types have an empty checkbox.
Visible object types are checked.
By default all object types are visible. They may all be hidden by clicking on the Deselect All button and they may all be made visible again by clicking on the Select All button.
Then check the checkboxes of those object types that are required to be visible.
If the toolbar is 'pinned' (icon vertical) then it permanently occupies a fixed area of the Graphics Window.
If the toolbar is 'unpinned' (icon horizontal) when the cursor moves beyond toolbar area then the toolbar is minimised into the side status bar containing the Objects tab. Only the Objects tab is visible and the screen area formerly occupied by the Objects Toolbar is occupied by the Graphic Window. If the cursor is placed over the Objects tab then the Toolbar is maximised and remains active until the cursor moves off it.
A left click on the pin icon toggles between 'pinned' and 'unpinned'.
Click to open the Object Browser. Alternatively click on the Object Browser tab in the left hand panel of the main form. The browser shows details of the selected object (i.e. local axes, structure properties, fixity, etc.). The selected object could be a beam or finite element, support or release. The Object Browser is read only.
