To Set Permissions

As a project administrator, you can control project member and subcontractor privileges according to project roles.

You can set permissions for attachments and editing privileges regarding checklists, tasks, equipment, reports, and library documents.

You can also set permissions for project roles (contractor, architect, engineer, owner, inspector) when using functions that include issues, checklists, daily updates, equipment, reports, library documents, and tasks. Subcontractor permissions can be set up separately. This enables subcontractors to add new issues and assign these issues to their company or to the account company.

Enable Permissions

  1. Select Profile Menu > Project Admin.
  2. Select Permissions .
  3. On the Permissions tab, select checkboxes and use the drop-down menus to set permissions, as well as settings for issues, tasks, and subcontractors.
  4. Under Lock Editing Of Selected Issue Types, you can specify the issue types that only the author of the issue can edit.
  5. Click Save.

Enable Subcontractor Permissions

  1. Select Profile Menu > Project Admin > Details.
  2. Under Details, check Use updated subcontractor experience > Save.

The Subcontractor role will now appear when you open Permissions from the main menu.
