To Create a Task

Create tasks to remind project members to complete work by a due date.

Tasks can be associated with issues or checklists and attachments.

  1. Click Tasks .
  2. Click (+) Task over the task list or calendar, or double-click a date and time in the calendar.
  3. In the Task window's Details tab, fill in the fields or choose values from menus. If you use a task template, select one from the Choose A Template list. The Task ID number is set by default, but you can change it before saving.
  4. Under Assigned To, click a username.
  5. Click Save.
  6. (Optional) Use the Issues, Checklists, and Attachments tabs to create and associate any relevant issues, checklists, or attachments.
  7. Click Save.
