To Create Issue Template Groups and Issue Templates

Create template groups for electrical issue templates, mechanical issue templates, and so on.

Use issue templates to quickly create issues in the field.

Important: You can’t create an issue template unless you first create an issue template group.

Create Template Groups Manually

  1. Click Profile menu > Project Admin.
  2. Click Issues > Templates tab.
  3. Next to Groups, click (+) Add.
  4. Name the group and click Add Group.

Add Templates to a Group

  1. Click Profile menu > Project Admin.
  2. Click Issues > Templates tab.
  3. Select a template group and click (+) Add in the Templates pane.
  4. Fill in the required Description field and select a company and issue type.
  5. Click Add Issue Template.

Import from an Account

  1. Click Profile menu > Project Admin.
  2. Click Issues > Templates tab.
  3. Next to Groups, click Import.
  4. In the Import Issue Template Group dialog, click the From Account tab and select one or more accounts.
  5. Click Import.

Import from an Excel File

  1. Click Profile menu > Project Admin.
  2. Click Issues > Templates tab.
  3. Next to Groups, click Import.
  4. Click the From File tab, which displays correct formatting for the spreadsheet.
    • If you do not have a properly formatted spreadsheet, click Download A Sample and enter your information in the spreadsheet. Rename and save the file. Then browse to the saved spreadsheet.
    • If you have a properly formatted spreadsheet, click Browse.
  5. Click Start Import.
