Handoff links show the dependencies between two or more activities.

Add

You can link the completion of one activity with the start date of another activity.

1. Click Gantt View .

2. Hover over the end of a task to display a white circle.

3. Click and drag the dotted line to the beginning of another task to link to. A tool tip displays as you link them together. Then the dotted line becomes solid to indicate the handoff link is set.

   

Remove

The quickest way to remove links is to hover over the line that connects two activities and click X to remove the link. You can also do the following:

1. Click List View or Gantt View .
2. Click Edit for the activity that you want to edit.
3. In the Edit Activity dialog, under Dependencies, click X for the handoff link that you want to remove.
4. Click Remove Handoff to confirm the removal. Deleted handoff links cannot be recovered.
