Select single or multiple objects to isolate them in the model.
For example, you may want to isolate all doors on the fourth floor of a model. You can select the doors by navigating to parent and child objects in the Properties window.
Isolating highlights and automatically zooms in to the objects. Surrounding objects become transparent, giving you a clearer view of your selection in the context of the model.
A Single Object
- In the model, tap the object.
- From the Action menu, tap Isolate
. Tap it again to restore normal view.
Multiple Parent and Child Objects
- In the model, tap an object.
- From the Action menu, tap Properties
. - In the Properties window, tap the angle bracket to the left of the selected object.
The parent object is displayed at the top of the Properties window, with the child objects listed beneath.
- In the Properties window, tap the parent and child objects and then tap Isolate .
Note: Tap the angle bracket to the right of the parent object to return to the original child object.
