To View Field Equipment Properties in Navisworks

If the BIM 360 add-in for Autodesk Navisworks is installed, you can view, in Navisworks, Field equipment properties added to a model coordinated with Glue.

1. In BIM 360 Glue, a Glue administrator shares a model with Field.
2. In Field, a Field administrator uses the Managing Equipment Mapping wizard to add Field equipment properties to the model.
3. In Navisworks, click the BIM 360 tab, select the Project panel, and click Append.
4. In the Select Host dialog, select your host and click Next.
5. Select a project and click Next.
6. Select a model to view. The Equipment icon appears as follows:
   • indicates the latest model version of the model is shared with Field and in use by Field.
   • indicates the model is shared with Field but not yet in use by Field
   • indicates that a previous version of the model is shared with Field and in use by Field, but this is not the latest version of the model.
7. Click Open.
Note: An alert appears if the model was changed in Glue since it was shared with Field. In this case, Field properties for objects removed from the model don’t appear.
