Locations

Locations create a Location Breakdown Structure (LBS). A Location Breakdown Structure is a set of hierarchical data that represents the structure or layout of a construction project from one or more aspects depending on the stage of the project. For example, floors and rooms describe a physical area in the project. You can link documents to locations and define areas for each location to populate automatically in Issues and Checklists when a pushpin is used in a document.

When working on a construction project it is standard practice to reference and track issues by location. It is also standard to reference where work will be done in a checklist. This is most often used in workflows used by Field Management.

To add locations you must be a project administrator for one of the project modules.
