Configure Custom Fields and Status Sets

Note: Only project administrators can configure Assets through the Settings icon .

Custom fields and status sets are applied to assets through the categories that you create. With custom fields, you can specify which asset information you want your teams to see and capture, out in the field.

Status sets allow you to accurately track assets in a category. They contain statuses that cover every stage that an asset will pass through on a project. Status sets can only be assigned to top-level categories. Subcategories inherit status sets from parent categories.

You can create as many custom fields and status sets as you need to effectively manage assets on your project.
