Selecting the collaboration model for your form template allows you to set how your team will interact with forms created from that template. You can set the permissions on the collaboration model to achieve your desired workflow.
Depending on the type of form template you create, there will be different collaboration models available:
Collaboration Model | Built in Template Builder | Uploaded PDF form | |
---|---|---|---|
Single contributor | Ideal for one contributor creating and submitting a form | ![]() |
![]() |
Collaborative | Ideal for allowing multiple editors to edit at the same time or in sequential order | ![]() |
|
Sequential | Ideal for PDF forms that require multiple editors to contribute. Only one editor can edit at one time so the form must be passed to each editor. | ![]() |
Each collaboration model can be set with Editors, Reviewers, and Viewers. Learn more about what each of these permission levels can do in Forms Permissions.
