The following video provides a workflow on how to add the Desktop Connector tray icon to the Windows status bar. However, keep in mind that there might be additional information in the subsequent text that is not covered in the video. We recommend going through the listed steps after watching the video for complete understanding.
When Desktop Connector is installed a tray icon is also installed on the Windows status bar. We strongly recommend you add the Desktop Connector tray icon to your Windows status bar as shown in the video. That way, you can have constant visibility into the status of your sync operations.
Once you have Installed Desktop Connector, a tray icon will display in the Windows Taskbar at the bottom right corner of your computer screen. When more icons are installed in the system tray than can fit in the space allotted, scroll or expand the system tray to display the Desktop Connector tray icon in the overflow area.
In the latest release, you can left click the tray icon to view your Desktop Connector activities from the previous 24 hours in the home screen. From the home screen, you can also access new and previous menu options which used to be available directly from the tray icon. Refer to the Home Screen and Menu Options page for more information.
