What's New
Reset Utility improvements
- Reset Utility now performs preflight checks: The Reset Utility now verifies it can complete the reset operation before making any changes, ensuring the reset will complete correctly and preventing partial cleanup operations.
- Reset Utility now removes shell extensions: The Reset Utility now properly removes shell extensions such as drag and drop handlers during the reset process, ensuring a more complete cleanup.
Stability & reliability enhancements
- Fixed false delete notifications after reinstalling: Resolved an issue where Desktop Connector would show delete notifications for all files after uninstalling and reinstalling the application. The uninstaller now properly cleans up databases and detects invalid workspace states to prevent this issue.
- Fixed workspace rename functionality: Resolved an issue where Desktop Connector could not properly rename corrupted workspaces. The application now correctly checks if databases are empty rather than just checking if they exist.
- Fixed rare crash during workspace scanning: Resolved an edge case crash that could occur when the application was unable to process certain detected changes during a workspace scan.
