Form Template Permissions in Library
You can set permissions and collaboration settings when you create or manage a form template in the Library. This setup helps you start projects faster and keeps your projects in line with your organization's standards.
In a form template in the Library, you can:
- Set permissions by role. For example, you can make Subcontractors Editors or Project Managers Viewers.
- Set the contributor collaboration mode.
- Enable options like sequential editing and the review step.
Important: The permissions you set in the Library are locked when you use the form templates in projects and project templates. Teams can't remove the role-based permissions you set in the Library.
However, teams can add more permissions by company or member in projects. The base permissions stay locked, but project teams can add people or companies as needed for each project.
