Using CADmep, ESTmep, or CAMduct, item statuses can be created and configured for each stage of the tracking cycle.

Item Statuses.
- For CADmep this is accessed by selecting the Edit Service Database button next to the Services selection drop-down.
The Item Statuses dialog shown above can be used to create new statuses, delete statuses, edit statuses, set layer tags, colors for statuses, and specify a status for output to a MAJ file.
Layer tags are commonly used in CADmep for assigning color and visualising the percentage of the drawing that has been completed.
Only items that are assigned statuses with the Output checkbox enabled (selected) will be saved in the MAJ file when the drawing is saved for manufacturing.
