In the Fabrication products, you can open job files in a variety of ways, depending on the file type and on which Fabrication product you are using. The table below lists the file types that can be opened in each Fabrication product.

Opening DWG Jobs in CADmep
To open a drawing file, do one of the following:
- At the startup dialog, click Open Files and browse to the desired .dwg file.
- Click the .dwg in the Recent Documents window.
- Click the application menu, and do one of the following:
- Under Recent Documents, click the desired file.
- Click Open
Drawing, and browse to the desired file.

Importing CAJ, MAJ, and ESJ Jobs in CADmep
To import a job in CADmep:
- In CADmep, open the drawing file (.dwg) you want to bring the CAJ, MAJ, or ESJ into.
Note: Make sure the configurations are the same to avoid corrupting the database.
- On the command line, type OPENJOB.
- Browse to and open the desired CAJ, MAJ, or ESJ.
- In the FAB viewer, click OK to accept the parts into the model.
Opening Jobs in ESTmep
To open a job in ESTmep:
- Start ESTmep.
- At the application startup dialog, do one of the following:
- In the Actions window, click Open Job and browse to the desired job file, and click Open.
- In the Recent Jobs window, click on a recent job to immediately open it.
Opening Jobs in CAMduct
To open a job in CAMduct:
- Start CAMduct.
- At the application startup dialog, do one of the following:
- In the Actions window, click Open Job and browse to the desired job file, and click Open.
- In the Actions window, click Show Job Browser to display the Job Browser dialog. Use the Job Browser to navigate to the desired job. For more information, see

- In the Recent Jobs window, click on a recent job to immediately open it.
