Change Object(s) Properties

In CADmep, the Change Object(s) Properties button in the CADmep toolbar is used to change item properties on one or multiple objects. When you click the Change Object(s) Properties button, the MPROP command is initiated. This command is useful for changing properties such as the following:

• updating item statuses, for example, to change from a design stage to a revision stage
• changing the specification or service type of complete systems
• changing the sizes of selected items

Using this command does not affect items that are not selected, even if the items are connected.

To use this command, you can either select the object(s) first, and then initiate the command, or you can initiate the command first, and then select the object(s).

To use the Change Object(s) Properties command:

1. In the model, select one or more objects (items).
2. In the CADmep toolbar, click the Change Object(s) Properties button . You can also type MPROP into the command line.

   The Item Properties dialog displays.

3. Change the desired properties on the Item Properties dialog, and then click OK.
