This functionality is provided as a preview
of intended future API capabilities. You are encouraged to use it and report any problems or suggestions using the
Fusion API and Scripts forum.
Because this is a preview of future functionality, there is the possibility that it will change, which will possibly
break any existing programs that use this functionality. Because of that, you should never deliver any programs that use
any preview capabilities. For a distributed program, you should wait until it has moved from preview to released state.
Defines the input properties required for creating a contour flange feature.
| Name | Description |
| classType |
Static function that all classes support that returns the type of the class as a string. The returned string matches the string returned by the objectType property. For example if you have a reference to an object and you want to check if it's a SketchLine you can use myObject.objectType == fusion.SketchLine.classType(). |
| setOneSideDirection |
Sets the direction to be one-sided. |
| setSymmetricDirection |
Sets the direction to be symmetric. |
| setTwoSidesDirection |
Sets the direction to be two-sided. |
| Name | Description |
| bendRadiusOverride | Bend-radius override for this contour flange input. Never null; check isOverridden to see if active. |
| direction | Returns the extent direction of the contour flange. This defaults to OneSideFlangeDirection when the input is set indirectly using one of the set methods on the input object to set the direction. |
| distance | Gets and sets the extrude distance when the direction is set to one side or symmetric. It also returns the first distance when a two-sided extent is defined. |
| distanceTwo | Gets and sets the extrude distance when a two-sided extent is defined. If a one-sided or symmetric extent is defined, this property will return null and setting it does nothing. |
| isValid | Indicates if this object is still valid, i.e. hasn't been deleted or some other action done to invalidate the reference. |
| objectType | This property is supported by all objects in the API and returns a string that contains the full name (namespace::objecttype) describing the type of the object. It's often useful to use this in combination with the classType method to see if an object is a certain type. For example: if obj.objectType == adsk.core.Point3D.classType(): |
| operation | Gets and sets the type of operation performed. This defaults to creating a new body in the component the FlangeFeatures collection was obtained from. In a hybrid design you can also choose to create a new component where the flange will be created. |
| orientation | Gets and sets the orientation of the contour flange. This defines in which direction the thickness is applied, and defaults to SideOneFlangeOrientation. |
| profiles | Gets and sets the array of open profiles that define the shape of the contour flange. The profiles can be in different sketches but must be parallel to one another. |
