TSplineBodies.createSphereInput Method

Parent Object: TSplineBodies
Defined in namespace "adsk::fusion" and the header file is <Fusion/TSpline/TSplineBodies.h>

Description

Creates a TSplineSphereInput object that is used to define all of the input required to create a sphere shaped T-Spline body. The fully defined TSplineSphereInput object is passed into the add method to create the actual T-Spline body. The origin, xDirection, and yDirection define a coordinate system in space where the axis of the sphere is in the Z direction.

Additional settings can be defined using the returned TSplineSphereInput object.

Syntax

"tSplineBodies_var" is a variable referencing a TSplineBodies object.

returnValue = tSplineBodies_var.createSphereInput(origin, xDirection, yDirection, radius)

Return Value

Type Description
TSplineSphereInput Returns the newly created TSplineSphereInput object or null if the creation failed.

Parameters

Name Type Description
origin Point3D The center point of the sphere.
xDirection Vector3D A vector defining the X direction.
yDirection Vector3D A vector defining the Y direction. This should be perpendicular to the xDirection.
radius double The radius of the sphere in centimeters.
