Enable Design Reservation

Learn how to enable or disable Design Reservation for your team in Fusion, so that team members reserve designs while they edit them in order to prevent design conflicts.

Note: Only a team's Administrator can enable or disable Design Reservation. If you are not an Administrator, contact your team's Administrator to enable or disable this feature. If you are using a legacy single-user storage account, transfer it to a Fusion team to access this feature.

Enable Design Reservation for a team

  1. In Fusion, expand the list of teams at the top of the Data Panel.

  2. Click Open in the Web.

    Open the Fusion web client

    the Fusion web client opens the project page in a web browser.

  3. In the Fusion web client, in the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin.

  4. On the Team Settings tab, scroll to the Collaboration section.

  5. Under Design Reservation, click the toggle team toggle on icon so that it appears green.

Design Reservation is enabled for the team. Project members reserve designs to prevent design conflicts.

Disable Design Reservation for a team

  1. Repeat steps 1-4 above.
  2. Under Design Reservation, click the toggle team toggle off icon so that it appears grey.

Design Reservation is disabled for the team. Project members cannot reserve designs. Any current reservations are removed.
