Extract a tool holder to the active tool library

Extracting a holder enables you to copy a holder from a tool and save it as a separate item in the active tool library. This way, you can use the holder for other tools. It is helpful for holders available as part of a tool.

1. On the Manufacture workspace toolbar, on any tab, click Manage > Tool Library .

   The Tool Library dialog opens.

2. In the middle window, select a tool that contains a holder.

3. Click the Edit tool icon.

   The Tool Library dialog for tool editing opens.

4. Select the Holder tab.

5. Press Extract holder.

   A copy of the holder from the selected tool displays on the tool list in the active tool library.
