Reuse a tool orientation

When setting a tool orientation for an operation, Fusion adds a selectable Tool Orientation node to the Browser. This lets you reuse the tool orientation for future operations, removing the need to specify tool orientations each time, and enabling simultaneous adjustment across multiple operations. You can also use a joint origin on your model to define a tool orientation.

1. Create or edit an operation.

2. In the operation dialog, in the Multi-Axis tab, select the Tool Orientation checkbox.

3. In the Tool Orientation list, select Coordinate System.

   

4. In the Browser, under Models, select a Joint Origin node, or under Setups, under an existing operation, select a previously defined Tool Orientation.
